Dr. Lucjan Bartusiak, founder of Lux Dental is passionate about what he does. For the past 10 years, Dr. Bartusiak has used his skills and experience in treating thousands of patients in all aspects of dentistry. He is a firm believer of the golden rule, and treats his patients the same way he would like to be treated. Each patient presents with unique needs and desires, however Dr. Bartusiak treats every person with same attention to detail as he would give to his family.

Dr. Bartusiak received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He later began his career
in dentistry by obtaining his DDS degree also from University of
Illinois at Chicago. He graduated in 2005 with honors.

In order to ensure that all of Dr. Bartusiak’s patients have access
to latest dental advances, he has completed hundreds of continuous
education courses that are far beyond what is required by the state.
He completed a vigorous implant training with Carl Misch Surgical
Institute and obtained an Advanced Bone Grafting certificate from
Pikos Implant Institute. Dr. Misch is a world-renowned pioneer in
implant dentistry. When Pope John Paul II needed implants, from among
the best specialists in the world, Carl Misch was selected to treat the Pope.

Dr. Bartusiak believes in a multidisciplinary approach to dentistry. He does his own extractions, root canals and implant cases from start to finish. This eliminates the need of pointing fingers between specialists and restorative dentists as he guarantees all of his work.

Dr. Bartusiak is a premier Invisalign provider, having completed

Dr. Bartusiak is a member of the American Dental Association,
Chicago Dental Association and International College
of Oral Implantologists.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, Alex and Eric.

Matthew Zielinski, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Matthew Zielinski’s care philosophy is to treat every patient with dedication, enthusiasm, and a gentle heart. He is an Illinois native, growing up in the Northwestern Suburbs of Chicago. Before beginning his dental career, Dr. Zielinski traveled the country participating in Junior Hockey. He continued competing at the college level as he was on the Club Hockey Team at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree, with honors.

Dr. Zielinski is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry Class of 2016. While attending Dental School, Dr. Zielinski was involved in numerous organizations, which included being Class Representative, ASDA, founder of the Periodontal-Implant Study Club, and a member of Delta Sigma Delta Fraternity. In addition, Dr. Zielinski traveled to Haiti on a humanitarian mission to provide dental healthcare. After obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, he completed a completed a graduate residency program at Loyola University Medical Center. During this program he gained advanced training in oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics.

Dr. Zielinski is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. Furthermore, he believes in life-long learning and has already become an active participant in continuing education. For example, he is a Spear Education Faculty Club Member, participates in three local Spear Study Clubs, and attends Several Spear Workshops/Seminars each year.

Outside of the office, Dr. Zielinski enjoys traveling with his wife, boating, golfing, and playing hockey. He enjoys spending time with family and friends while furthering his mission to increase oral health awareness.
